These resources have been created using a strengths-based, resilience approach with children and families. The family is viewed through a socio-ecological lens, that is, the child is part of a complex system, including their characteristics, family, friends, professionals, community, government, culture, society, media and global events.
Terminology:
Defence - current serving military member
Veteran - previously serving military member
First Responder - emergency services worker
Remote Worker - anyone who leaves their family or community to work away (e.g. transport workers, FIFO, DIDO etc.)
